Feature Fridays: Life Changing Mission Experiences; Every Nation Botswana Mission 2016

By: Grace Nonde

So my best friend Mwaba asked me: “What would you say was the difference between the Kenya Mission trip you went on last year and the Botswana Mission trip this year?”
My answer: “I was able to hear God’s voice much more clearly this time around.”

Let’s rewind a little…
Last year I went on my first International Mission trip to Kenya. The destination was Kenyatta University in Kahawa-Sukari, Nairobi.
The way this happened was all God ordained. But that is a whole other story of miracles on it's own and you can contact me if you would like to know more. However, long story short is that  during the Kenya Mission trip last year I encountered God in a way I had never before. The supernatural was so real during the entire week we were there. We got to see many salvations, miracles such as blind eyes opened, spiritually orphaned children returned to their Heavenly Father and a definite change in the atmosphere of Kenyatta University where many Bible Study/Connect groups have been started to incorporate the students we reached out during our time there.
Matthew 28:19- “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”

Adventures in Cape Town : Small girl in a BIG City

Guess who's on vac??? *points at self* This girl! I hope you're as excited as I am about that!

So by now you've all figured out that I'm a picture person right? Yes? No? What? Why?
You clearly need to go back and have a look at my earlier posts. Try Awol, it may ring a bell, lol.

For the longest time I was convinced I was made to be in front of the camera. *strikes a pose* I was that kid that smiled when I saw the flash go off.  And yes, I know what you're thinking, I was shameless. *hides face* I actually got an award for it one junior assembly in high school. *flashes a grin* It only occurred to me recently that more often than not, I'm the one who asks for the camera to take the shot  or "capture the memory" as I like to call it. So maybe I'm not the model but the photographer? *insert thinky face* That's definitely what it's looking like these days. I actually can't remember the last time I asked someone to take a picture of me, had a full on selfie session or threw myself in front of a lens. Hmmn *taps nose* March sometime? Sorry. I'm digressing. That's another story for another day *winks*.
